Student's Information

There are a number of companies that participate in the scheme offering different opportunities.

The length and date of the opportunities vary from company to company. Expenses are reviewed on a company-by-company basis though in most cases travel and lunch expenses are covered. Accommodation is on a company-by-company basis though you will generally be expected to find your own. Many students overcome this by either staying with family or friends or if you live nearby, at home. The programme has explicitly been set up in this way to encourage as many companies as possible to participate in the scheme.

Examples of some of the companies that have participated in the scheme are

Aon

Bank of Ireland Securities Services

Savile Group

JHW

Nestlé UK Ltd

RNID

Serious Organised Crime Association

Those who have participate in the scheme have found it hugely beneficial in terms of increasing their confidence and ability to interact with professionals and for those who are new to the workplace in getting a taste of the working environment and the ability to see course theory in practice in a first class organisation. It can of course also be greatly beneficial on your C.V. when either applying for further educational qualifications or employment.

To view some of the placements that have been completed and feedback from both the companies and students, we suggest you view the Case Studies page.
